KARACHI: The Aga Khan University (AKU) is set to host the 2nd Annual BMI International Conference 2025 from Tuesday & Wednesday, November 4–5, 2025 at the Aga Khan University Auditorium, Stadium Road, Karachi, a two-day event dedicated to advancing dialogue and understanding in the field of mental well-being.
Under the theme “Building Thriving Communities: Promoting Brain and Mental Health,” the conference will bring together globally recognized experts, researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to explore innovative approaches to mental and brain health.
The event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and research presentations covering a wide range of disciplines including neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, and global mental health. Participants will engage in critical conversations on emerging themes such as digital mental health, youth and migration, climate and brain health, suicide prevention, dementia and healthy brain aging, and community-based care models.
Designed to foster collaboration and capacity building especially in low- and middle-income countries the conference aims to shape policies and practices that contribute to healthier, more resilient communities worldwide.
