BISHKEK: Tara Uzra Dawood, President of the Dawood Global Foundation and Founder of LADIESFUND Energy Ltd., has been awarded the CAREC Gender & Green Innovation Award 2025 by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
This prestigious award celebrates leaders who combine women’s empowerment with sustainable innovation. Tara’s initiative to train Pakistani female engineers to solarize rooftops, once met with skepticism, has now grown into a sustainable, profitable, and inspiring enterprise.
