KARACHI: Life Sanctuary and Safari, in collaboration with Greenwich University, successfully organized an inspiring event to commemorate World Animal Day, highlighting the importance of compassion, animal welfare, and the urgent need for harmony between humans and wildlife.
The event was graced by Brigadier Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, CEO of Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS), who attended as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Brigadier Lakhiar emphasized the social and moral responsibility of every citizen to ensure the safety, care, and dignity of animals. He appreciated Life Sanctuary and Safari for taking the lead in creating awareness and advocating for animal welfare across Pakistan.
The program featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including, MPA Dr. Shariq Jamal, Mr. Hassan Jalil, Mr. Manzar Naqvi, Mr. Feyaz Shah, Managing Director, Sindh Culture, Tourism & Antiquities Department, Ms. Sarah Jehangir, Director, CDRS, Mr. Faiz Kidwai, Founder Pakistan Smart Villages and Mr. Nabeel Gabol, Spokesperson Government of Sindh. Each speaker delivered insightful speeches on animal rights, environmental preservation, and the role of institutions in promoting empathy and sustainable ecosystems. The discussions underscored the need for a united effort by government, civil society, and private organizations to protect wildlife and establish a culture of kindness towards animals.
The event marked a key milestone for Team Life Sanctuary and Safari, as it continues to champion wildlife conservation, animal rescue, sustainable tourism, and environmental awareness initiatives throughout Pakistan.
