DUBAI/KARACHI: This World Food Day 2025 cothm karachi join hands with Ned University to participate in the Seminar held under the global theme “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future.”

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Zahoor ul Hussain Awan, Chairman, Department of Food Engineering, NED University, and featured insightful presentations by esteemed academicians including Dr. Zubala Lutfi, Dr. Ali Ammar Taqvi, Dr. Atif Mustafa, and Dr. Abdul Haq.

Mr. Sabir Ahmed, Executive Director, COTHM Karachi, shared valuable insights on the role of culinary education in shaping sustainable food systems. Distinguished addresses were also delivered by Mr. Munsarif Saif (Group CEO, Ismail Industries), Mr. Ismail Suttar (CEO, HubPak Salt Refinery), and Mr. Julius Githinji Muchemi (Head of Province, FAO Sindh).

The session concluded with the presiding address by Prof. Dr. Noman Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor, NED University, and remarks from the Chief Guest, Mr. Sohail Ahmed Qureshi, Secretary, Agriculture Supply & Prices Department, Government of Sindh.
