hansgrohe was honored with the “Zero Plastic Packaging Award 2025” at BNC’s Sustainability Innovation Awards at Al Habtoor Palace, recognizing the brand’s leadership in lower-impact, recyclable packaging design.
This award highlights hansgrohe’s commitment to sustainability, reflected in a shift to paper-based mono-material packaging that reduces plastic to near zero, while preserving product protection and maintaining the premium brand experience. Reduced inks and adhesives, along with right-sized cartons, further lower CO2 emissions and simplify recycling. Beyond packaging, hansgrohe’s sustainability program is recognized by independent ratings and certifications, including EcoVadis Platinum (2024), a CDP climate “B” rating, and ISO 14001/45001/50001 certifications.
“Sustainability runs through everything we make at hansgrohe. Packaging isn’t an afterthought; it’s part of the product,” said Vivian D’Souza, Head of Administration at hansgrohe. “This award showcases our commitment to a greener world.”
