Dubai Basketball to Host Historic EuroLeague 2025/26 Opener at Coca-Cola Arena

DUBAI: In just five days, Dubai will make history as it hosts the EuroLeague 2025/26 season opener at Coca-Cola Arena. The first-ever home sports franchise to represent the city, Dubai Basketball, will take to the court against Partizan in a clash that marks the beginning of the team’s EuroLeague career and the start of a historical season.

On Tuesday, 30 September, the arena will come alive with a historic opener unlike anything the city has ever seen. The evening begins with an opening ceremony at 7:45 PM, leading into tip-off at 8:00 PM. Fans lucky enough to secure their seats will witness Europe’s top talent battle it out on Dubai’s home court – Coca-Cola Arena, as one of the continent’s most legendary clubs takes on the city’s first-ever professional basketball franchise.

The EuroLeague is widely regarded as one of the toughest competitions in world basketball, and Dubai Basketball now stands alongside giants such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Fenerbahçe. The season opener is not just another game, it is a moment that cements Dubai as a permanent fixture amongst basketball elites.

Tickets are selling fast, with prices starting at just AED 75. Season Tickets are also available, giving fans access to more than 31 home games across the season, including playoffs. With history being written at Coca-Cola Arena, this is the chance to be there when Dubai makes its mark on world basketball.
