DUBAI: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Women’s Committee recently organised the ‘Ski Hiking Challenge’ in an atmosphere filled with energy and camaraderie. More than 50 female employees took part in the event, navigating the trails and slopes of Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates. The initiative is part of the committee’s efforts to promote team spirit and positive competition among DEWA’s female staff.
“The entertainment events, social activities and sports programmes we organise foster a spirit of teamwork among DEWA’s female employees across all divisions. These initiatives are designed to inspire them to achieve a harmonious work-life balance, promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage daily participation in sports. By enhancing their overall happiness and quality of life, these activities empower female employees to deliver exceptional results and perform their vital roles in driving sustainable prosperity and development,” said Fatima Al Jokar, Chairperson of the DEWA Women’s Committee.
