KARACHI: inDrive has opened applications for the Aurora Tech Award 2026, a flagship initiative by the organization to honor women tech founders from around the world — including Pakistan — who are creating meaningful social impact through innovation.
This award is designed to highlight women entrepreneurs on a global stage, providing them with international recognition, opportunities to connect with major investors, tailored mentorship, and resources to scale their businesses.
The winner of the award will receive USD 50,000, the runner-up will receive USD 20,000, and the third-place finalist will be awarded USD 15,000.
Launched by inDrive in 2021, the Aurora Tech Award has become a prominent platform that celebrates women’s contributions to the field of technology.
For the 2025 edition, the award received a record 2,018 applications from 116 countries, with finalists representing a wide range of sectors including health tech, AI, fintech, edtech, and agritech.
On this occasion, Owais Saeed, Country Head of inDrive Pakistan, stated, “Pakistani women entrepreneurs have immense potential, but they often face challenges in accessing funding, visibility, and strategic support. Through the Aurora Tech Awards, inDrive is working to break down these barriers and provide women with the opportunity to bring their ideas to life on a global platform.”
The announcement of the Top 100 women founders (Quarter-Finalists) will take place on December 8, 2025. This will be followed by the announcement of Semi-Finalists (Top 30) and Finalists in early 2026. Finalists will participate in a special mentorship program between February and March 2026, after which the Aurora Tech Awards ceremony will be held between March and April 2026.
