KARACHI: The Rotary Club of Karachi Star held a graceful leadership handover ceremony to induct its newly elected members for the 2025–2026 term.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Past President Rafiq Vayani. Outgoing Founder Charter Secretary, Ms. Shazia Alam, delivered a heartfelt welcome and introduced the incoming leadership team.
Ms. Erum Saim took charge as the new President, formally introducing each executive member and sharing a vision for a collaborative and exemplary year ahead. The newly elected office bearers were handed over their responsibilities in a ceremonial exchange of duties.
The elected leadership for the 2025–2026 term includes:
- President: Erum Saaim
- Vice President: Dr. Masood Ahmed
- General Secretary: Haroon Sheikh
- Treasurer: Kamran Hashim
- President Elect: Dr. Masood Ahmed
- General Secretary Elect: Kamran Hashim
- Treasurer Elect: Muhammad Ahmed
Prominent members including Nausheen Alam (Ex-Treasurer), Fashion Designer Hina Asif, and others attended the event, highlighting their continued support. The importance of social media presence and community engagement was emphasized, especially among younger members.
The Club also proposed the formation of a Rotaract Club, citing the active participation of youth.
