DUBAI/KARACHI: The Consul of Italy in Karachi, Fabrizio Bielli, hosted the Italian National Day 2025 celebrations at Beach Luxury Hotel.
The first lady of Pakistan, Her Excellency Madame Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, graced the event with her esteemed presence along with honorable Madam Faryal Talpur, President- Pakistan Peoples’ Party Women Wing, the Honorable Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and other notable Ministers, Parliamentarians, Diplomats, Bureaucrats and distinguished authorities.
Consul Fabrizio Bielli in his welcome speech expressed his gratitude to all the distinguished guests present at the ceremony and highlighted the important aspects of strong and friendly cooperation between Italy and Pakistan, particularly in the economic and commercial fields.
To make it special, Consulate of Italy invited Chef Vincenzo De Liso from Italy to host an extraordinary evening of Italian gastronomical excellence and culinary heritage with a specially curated menu for the guests. Chef Vincenzo De Liso hails from the vibrant culinary traditions of Naples, who displayed his culinary innovation and creativity at the event.
To create an extraordinary Italian evening- the event not only served authentic Italian food by Chef De Liso, but also treated the guests with exclusive coffee by Illy, Italian gelato and Italian cheese for guests to enjoy.
The Consul took the opportunity to share with the august gathering the signing of MoU between Emirates Airlines and Consulate of Italy with the aim to enhance economic and commercial activities.
Emirates will also explore opportunities to support diplomatic and commercial/cultural events organized by the Italian Consulate, as well as promotions for business engagements in Italy related with the Italian Consulate.
Consul Bielli invited the first lady; Madam Aseefa Bhutto Zardari along with Madam Faryal Talpur and Honorable Chief Minister to join him on stage to announce the winners for the exclusive lucky draw by VERSACE.
