KARACHI: In a heartwarming initiative to honor the resilience of mothers, Khudi and Rotary Club of Karachi Silver Sands have joined hands with several community partners to launch the #MeriMaaHimmatKaNishan campaign. This Mother’s Day celebration aims to recognize and appreciate the unwavering dedication of mothers, particularly those caring for children with special needs.
As part of this collaboration, Khudi’s Founder, Sarwat N. Shah, and IHRI’s Founder, Razzak Pardesi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together on this noble cause. IHRI, an organization focused on providing holistic care to children with special needs, will partner with Khudi to share stories of resilience from mothers of children with special needs.
The campaign will honor these mothers with praise, appreciation, and prizes. A jury will select the top stories, and the most deserving mothers will receive prizes, including a top prize of a 100 Sq Yards plot in NISA Block 2, graciously sponsored by Zaamin Group ZTK. NISA Block is a landmark initiative ensuring affordable property ownership for Pakistani women.
Gift vouchers have also been pledged by IFG Pakistan. This campaign is part of a larger effort involving four other community partners: Kiran Foundation, Al Furqan Welfare, KATI, and Voice of DHA.
The #MeriMaaHimmatKaNishan campaign embodies the spirit of empathy, love, and appreciation for mothers who tirelessly care for their children. By recognizing their resilience, we hope to inspire a wave of support and gratitude for these unsung heroes.
