Beginning his journey in 2009 with Bosporus Dubai—a Turkish dining concept that swiftly became a landmark with five prestigious locations, including spots at Dubai Mall and Downtown Boulevard—Murat’s vision captured the attention of not only the local market but also royalty. A strategic acquisition by an Abu Dhabi royal further propelled the brand’s expansion, now boasting more than 15 outlets globally, including an international presence in London.
In 2022, Murat co-founded Amaya Dubai, an innovative, AI-infused dining establishment located in Dubai Mall. With its premium shisha offerings, immersive ambiance, and iconic centerpiece, Joseph Klibansky’s “The Bear,” Amaya has rapidly ascended to become a favored destination among celebrities and influencers. Leveraging AI-driven insights and cutting-edge design, Amaya stands at the forefront of technological integration in luxury dining.
Today, as Amaya employs 90 skilled professionals and embraces a digital-first strategy, plans are underway for significant growth—targeting new locations in Erbil and throughout the GCC, along with two pioneering restaurant concepts scheduled for debut in 2025.
Murat’s philosophy is simple yet profound: “I don’t believe in shortcuts. It’s about staying true to the vision, building a strong team, and never stopping.” Rooted in a family tradition of hospitality and motivated by leaders like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, Murat also credits sports for his discipline and balance. “Sports give me balance—it’s my reset button,” he notes, underscoring the importance of teamwork and loyalty.
