Pakistan and Romania Strengthen Bilateral Ties through Business and Academia Collaboration

DUBAI/KARACHI: The Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) and Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster economic and trade relations between the two nations. This partnership aims to promote joint research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, further solidifying Pakistan-Romania bilateral cooperation.

“This MOU marks a significant milestone in our efforts to bridge the gap between industry and academia, unlocking new opportunities for Pakistan and Romania,” said Atif Farooqi, Advisor and COO, Pakistan Romania Business Council. “We look forward to working with Minhaj University Lahore to drive mutual growth and prosperity.”

Ahmad Ikram Lone, President PRBC – North Chapter, added, “This collaboration will pave the way for our businesses to tap into new markets, technologies, and expertise, enhancing our competitiveness globally.”

The MOU signing ceremony was held in Lahore on April 11, 2025, between Sohail Shamim Firpo representing PRBC and Commodore SM Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore.
