KARACHI: Karachi’s theatre scene springs to life this April with the premiere of Monkey Business, a sharp-witted comedy written and directed by the multi-talented Yasir Hussain. Running from April 5 to April 20 at the Karachi Arts Council, the play is brought to you by Inkorporate Digital and Lo IQ Films, with production by Asiyah Majeed and Sajeel Meer. Following its Karachi run, Monkey Business will tour Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar.
Monkey Business follows the story of Wasim (played by Yasir Hussain), a struggling actor navigating the challenges of showbiz. His wife Sana (Yusra Irfan), a passionate artist, and their lively tenant Sherry (Umer Aalam), an aspiring actor himself, form a quirky household. When Wasim receives a call from an investigation officer regarding misused funds, their world is thrown into comedic chaos.
