DUBAI: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has concluded its Meer Al Khair initiative, launched in collaboration with Al Ihsan Charitable Society in Ajman. The campaign, aimed at supporting families in need during the Holy Month of Ramadan, successfully gathered 409 boxes of basic food supplies, thanks to the generous contributions of DEWA and Mai Dubai employees.

The initiative, an annual event reflecting DEWA’s social responsibility, seeks to inspire the spirit of volunteerism and foster humanitarian values among employees and stakeholders. Deeply rooted in Emirati culture and the noble principles of Islam, it promotes co-operation, brotherhood and giving. In the “Year of Community”, the initiative witnessed notable employee participation, further strengthening societal ties and unity while advancing efforts to build a cohesive and resilient society.
