SUKKUR: On 24 February 2025, Mr. Surashete Boontinand, Consul General of Thailand in Karachi, held a discussion with the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry to understand the scope of the industry and trade in Sukkur, which is a center for agro-processed food production.
Both sides Consulted and exchange views on trade problems, barriers and sought opportunities to increase the value of trade and investment between the two countries. Pakistan expressed its appreciation for Thailand’s progress in the agro-processed food industry, tourism, and automotive spare parts industry.
The Consul General assured the members of the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry that he would help support and promote cooperation between Thailand and Pakistan in various fields.
