ABU DHABIOn the third day of GITEX Global 2024Abu Dhabi Government unveiled groundbreaking projects and signed strategic memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aimed at transforming public service delivery.

The Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), launched Tomouh, a tailored learning app for Abu Dhabi Government employees designed to enhance professional development through a hyper-personalised educational experience. The app offers diverse resources and goal-setting features, promoting a culture of lifelong learning and development.

Meanwhile, the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and DGE introduced the enhanced People of Determination Card service on TAMM 3.0, a comprehensive digital platform aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities in accessing a range of government services. This initiative ensures equitable access by offering customised services in healthcare, education and social inclusion while facilitating seamless navigation through accessible resources and comprehensive information on rights.

TAMM 3.0 also incorporates multiple support channels – phone, email, and chat – providing timely assistance for an enhanced user experience. By integrating these services with other government platforms, TAMM 3.0 fosters inclusivity and empowers People of Determination to engage fully in society, encouraging people to share their feedback for continuous improvement.

Additionally, TAMM Nexus was introduced to transform the product delivery life cycle within TAMM, harnessing AI to optimise every phase – ideation, requirements, design, development and testing. This innovative approach is projected to increase service delivery speed, accuracy and quality by 70-80 per cent, enabling agile and rapid iterations that align with digital innovation and service excellence goals.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department also unveiled its enhanced Digital Judicial Services platform, streamlining the Notary Public eService to simplify the customer journey by minimising the number of required attachments, ensuring a more effortless experience.

On Day 3, DGE also signed several significant MoUs to support Abu Dhabi’s ongoing transformation initiatives. In partnership with Microsoft, DGE will develop an AI skills training programme for 25,000 employees, focusing on areas such as Gen AI fluency, executive leadership, development and cybersecurity.

A collaboration between DGE and CPX aims to strengthen cybersecurity measures and boost the resilience of government entities through joint projects. The MoU between DGE and EY is designed to enhance digital learning, helping to upskill government employees and improve their overall performance and efficiency. Additionally, TAMM teamed up with Qmobility to streamline access to digital government services, improving customer experiences. An MoU between DGE and Accenture was also signed, focusing on joint research and development to enhance service delivery and improve quality of life in Abu Dhabi.
