BEIJING, China: Emirates has pledged support to the SmileAngel Foundation to provide meals for children and their families during their charity parent-child summer camp, which includes 20 children with cleft lip and palate conditions, along with eight children from volunteering families. Emirates has provisioned for 1440 meals to be provided for more than 40 people at the camp which started on 31 July and will run until 11 August in Beijing. The meals have been carefully selected for their nutritional benefits to support the children’s wellbeing.
Adam Li, Emirates’ Vice President in China, commented: Emirates’ commitment to China doesn’t stop at providing world-class onboard and on-ground experiences, we also believe in the power of giving back by supporting community outreach efforts that drive positive change. The SmileAngel Foundation has been making a tremendous progress in offering support for children born with clefts, and we’re proud to establish this partnership with the foundation and contribute to their ongoing efforts that align with our core values.”
