ABU DHABI: Etihad Airways is celebrating 20 years of flying this month and recently unveils a special anniversary racing car ahead of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.
The car is showcased in a video featuring Emirati female Formula 4 racing driver Hamda Al Qubaisi in a race with Etihad’s pilot, First Officer Captain Fatema Al Shehhi, also a UAE national.
Whether flying planes or racing laps, these two Emiratis know how to blaze a trail and demonstrate ambition, commitment and perseverance in their work. Their race on the track will whet the appetite for fans who are looking forward to the finale of the Formula 1 racing calendar.
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place this weekend and Etihad Airways is geared up to bring tens of thousands of visitors to the UAE capital. One of the highlights of the weekend is the spectacular Etihad Airways fly past featuring the Al Fursan Aerobatic team on Sunday moments before the race starts.
