DUBAI: Mr. Shahid Ismail, CEO of Premier Cables Pakistan, one of the leading manufacturers of optic fiber cables, shared insights and updates during an interview with Biz Today Internationals, at the Pakistan Pavilion in GITEX Global 2023 on Monday, 16 October, 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Center, one of the world’s largest IT conferences and exhibitions. Mr. Ismail began by expressing his gratitude to key organizations, including PSEB, PASHA, and TDAP, responsible for showcasing 26 Pakistani stalls at the event.
Highlighting their participation, he mentioned that this was Premier Cables in Pakistan Pavilion second year at GITEX, even though they have been in the business for a remarkable 15 years. The event has proven to be a significant platform for them, with a substantial influx of visitors from around the world, especially from the Gulf and African regions.
Mr. Ismail underlined their international reach, noting that Premier Cables Pakistan is already exporting to prominent clients such as Etisalat and Afghanistan. He emphasized that they had recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Riyadh, with high hopes of securing more agreements by the end of the exhibition.
Speaking on the importance of exhibitions like GITEX, Mr. Ismail stressed that they provide a valuable opportunity for promoting business and marketing, allowing people to discover the potential present in Pakistan and the quality of products they produce. Their primary objective is to contribute to increasing foreign exchange in Pakistan, and, therefore, their focus remains on expanding their exports. Expectations for a successful business outcome from their participation in GITEX 2023 are high.
