Royal Thai Consulate General in Karachi invites Thais and those interested to find opportunities to visit the city of Larkana, including the archaeological site of Mohenjo-daro in Sindh Province, Pakistan. It is one of the most important archaeological sites that is worth studying and visiting. The site also includes a museum that exhibits artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization.

Mohenjo-daro is located in the northern part of Sindh, about 400 kilometers north of Karachi. It takes about 7 hours to drive by car. It is one of the oldest cities in the world, with an area of about 1,570 rai (620 acres). It is a Indus Valley Civilization site that is over 4,600 years old. The city was once very prosperous in the 26th century BC before being abandoned in the 19th century BC.
