KARACHI/DUBAI: In a grand celebration of a significant milestone, M/s Muhammad Yahya Polani Chairman, and Muhammad Safwan Polani CEO of Polani’s Group of Companies, hosted a Diplomats Dinner to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Polani’s Travel Group in Pakistan The splendid event took place at their residence and saw the gathering of esteemed guests from various walks of life.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Mr. M. Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, and the Guest of Honor, Mr. Andreas Wegner, Deputy Head of Mission at the Consulate General of Germany in Karachi.
Among the notable attendees were His Excellency Mr. Cemal Sangu, Consul General of Turkiye, and His Excellency Mr. Narut Soontarodom, Consul General of Thailand, along with Vice Consul Generals representing Russia, Indonesia, Iran, and Malaysia. Also present were Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Honorary CG of Yemen, and Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Honorary CG of Morocco. Representing the business community were prominent figures, including Mr. Humza Yaqub Tabani of Tabani Group of companies, Mr. Altaf Tai, Chairman ABAD, Fayyaz Ilyas, Rizwan Adhia, Nadeem Polani, Asif Majeed, Sufyan Adhia, Atif Iqbal, Abdul Razzaq Haryani, Saleem Haryani, Dr. Talha, Anas Adhia as well as members of the Travel & Tourism industry.
The event commenced with an introduction by Mr. Zainul Abedin, COO of Polani’s Group, who provided insights into the history and activities of the Polani’s Group. In his address, Mr. M. Yahya Polani, Chairman of Polani’s Group, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the guests, particularly the foreign diplomats, for gracing the occasion. Mr. Polani extended his appreciation to the Consulate General of Germany in Karachi for their exceptional support in facilitating smooth and professional visa services for Pakistanis.
Mr. Andreas Wegner, Dy Head of Mission at the German Consulate, highlighted the growing trade relations between Germany and Pakistan, which reached €3.5 billion in 2021. He emphasized the vast tourism potential that Pakistan holds and the importance of sharing this rich cultural heritage and natural beauty with the German community Governor Sindh, Mr. Kamran Khan Tessori, commended the Polani’s Group for their remarkable five decades of service to the nation. He extended his best wishes for their continued success in the future.
The evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner, a hallmark of Polani’s Group, leaving guests with unforgettable memories of the celebration.
