KARACHI: Mr. Akhtar Yunus Arfa, Chief Executive Officer of Anis Apparel was talking to team Biz Today International during an informal chat on current political and economic situation of Pakistan.
Even in these testing times Mr. Arfa seemed full of positive energy and said; “Pakistan is a huge country with the population of 231 Million (Official Census 2021) making it the fifth largest country in world by population. I see this as an opportunity for Pakistan excel”.
He further shared by views by saying; “Pakistan has some of the best mines, excellent agriculture coupled with one of the best irrigation system in the world. These sectors have vast potential and can do wonders for our Pakistan’s Economy”.
On his concluding note, Mr. Arfa said; ‘Pakistan’s growth can easily hit double figure in coming years, by adhering to three steps only, which are; 1) industrialize further, which will help in increase in existing textile-exports, 2) Taking steps for encouraging exports of IT sector and 3) government should give attractive subsidies to Pakistani Expats against their Home Remittances”.
