Coordination Committee formed to Promote Arts & Culture of Sindh

KARACHI: To promote the arts and culture of Sindh, a coordination committee consisting of the arts council of Sindh has been established, headed by the president of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah and the secretary of the Sukkur Arts Council President Mumtaz Bukhari.

While the presidents and secretaries of all arts councils across Sindh will be members of this committee, the committee will organize all the arts councils across Sindh on the pattern of Karachi Arts Council in major cities across Sindh, especially the divisional headquarters where arts councils are located. and will be mobilized for the promotion of culture and literature, it was decided on Thursday in a meeting held in the committee room of the Arts Council Karachi under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Culture and Education Sardar Ali Shah, The presidents and secretaries of arts councils across Sindh participated in the meeting, it was said that the services rendered by Arts Council Karachi under the leadership of President Ahmad Shah in the promotion of art, culture and literature should be implemented as a model across Sindh.

Arts Council Sindh Coordination Committee should be established, the aim of which is to activate the Arts Council in Sindh and promote art and culture. It will also mobilize the councils and take steps to promote the culture and literature of Sindh. It was decided in the meeting that the coordination committee will establish painting, theater and music academies in other arts councils of Sindh, where education and training will be given in various departments of arts and arts.
