The Ajman Department of Tourism Development is organizing a folkloric dance show titled “Echoes of Armenia” on the 16th of March in collaboration with the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, which constitutes a prominent event of Ajman’s cultural scene.
The “Echoes of Armenia” dance show is a free entry event taking place at the Ajman Culture Center, and performed by the “Prof Art Dance” group. The Armenian group’s show is inspired by a profound heritage that recounts traditional folk tales, dressed in colorful hand-made costumes, and performs its singing and dancing using common musical instruments from the Armenian culture.
The show includes many folkloric dances and musical performances such as: Waltz dance by Aram Khachaturian, Kevork Garabedian music band, Vaspurakan dance group performing “Life and Battle” song, Kosher Yarkhusta folk dance, Zul Artsakh musical, Colors of Armenia dance, A Garden Rose song, Kinto dance, The Eagle song, the Sayat-Nova dance, the Caravan dance group, the Shalakho dance, and the Shushi dance.
This cultural event comes as part of the department’s efforts to raise the artistic awareness of people and motivate them to discover and develop their talents, as Ajman Tourism continues to support a sustainable cultural environment in collaboration with its strategic partners.
