DUBAI/KARACHI: In celebration of its third brand anniversary, Zippy Writers (an online learning platform, a registered entity) hosted its first on-ground business networking event. The event took place on 28th January 2023, Saturday at a local hotel in Karachi.
During the business networking meetup, there were 15 small business owners who represented their brands, interacted with each other and found potential customers.
A meetup was organized to connect people who owned a small business at home or as freelancers, but didn’t receive much attention due to some influential factors.
At the event, the founder/CEO Pirah Aijaz shared a success story to motivate the attendees. She said, “Passion, Patience, and Consistency are the key factors that contributed to my success, and I’ve followed these principles since I began my entrepreneurial career”.
Zippy Writers took a baby step to help small business owners, leading the way by helping them to try doing business related things professionally and showing them how the networking could be helpful to scaleup their businesses.
During the session, freelancers and business owners equally participated and discussed the challenges they are facing while managing their brands.
The guest Zeelaf Haris Yameen (Chairperson of Pakistan Entrepreneurs Club-PEC) concluded the session while highliting the importance of networking and being social to make your presence better in the industry.
As a token of appreciation, certificates and giveaways were given to the attendees at the end of the session.
