Oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected governing body of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi was held in Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi.  Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took oath from the newly elected governing body addressing to the oath- taking ceremony Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the Arts Council of Pakistan inaugurated five projects in Karachi today and Ahmad Shah says that more projects are still left, making this institution a center that can be proud of us.

He said that similar arts councils are being established in the whole of Sindh. Education and Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah and Arts Council President Ahmed Shah also spoke on this occasion. Secretary Prof. Ejaz Farooqui gave vote of thanks while Director Admin Shakeel Khan moderate the event. Earlier, President Muhammad Ahmad Shah, Vice President Munawar Saeed, Secretary Ejaz Farooqui, Joint Secretary Noor-ul-Huda Shah, Treasurer Qudsia Akbar, Members Governing Body Ghazi Salahuddin, Dr. Jafar Ahmed, Shahnaz Wazir Ali, Nusrat Haris, Amjad Siraj Memon, Akhlaq Ahmed. , Syed Shehzad Raza Naqvi, Dr. Huma Mir, Dr. Ayoub Sheikh, Saadat Jafri, Farrukh Shahab, Chand Gul Shah, Najia Ashar, Ambareen Haseeb Ambar, Dr. Qaiser Sajjad, Asjad Bukhari took oath.

Sindh Chief Minister said that Ahmed Shah has brought together literary people at local and foreign level, the government will continue to patronize the Arts Council as it has become a center of great facility for institutions. Arts Council Karachi has played a big role in restoring the splendor of the city, he said that it was a pleasure to see Josh Malihabadi Library, it is a very big library, I congratulate Ahmed Shah for this. On this occasion, he congratulated for the peaceful local elections and said that there could not have been fairer elections than the one that took place and no major accident happened, it is because the government had made foolproof arrangements.

Sindh Education and Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that Arts Council Karachi is on the rise and today it has become the cultural hub of Pakistan from where the message of love of Sindh Valley is going across the country and outside the country. He said that every member of the governing body of Arts Council is an association in itself and this message is very positive for the country. He said that Arts Council is being established across Sindh on the pattern of Arts Council Karachi, whose leader is Ahmed Shah, the message that Ahmed Shah has come out with will present a new face of Pakistan in front of the world. President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that due to Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan People’s Party and his leadership, Arts Council has become the biggest center of art and culture in the country today.

The largest Pakistan Literature Festival will be held in Lahore from February 10 to 12, after which it will be held in Gwadar and other cities of Pakistan, then festivals will be held in other countries including the United States, London, and Dubai. He said that on this platform we are all together eliminating language and regional hatreds from the country. He said that culture and literature can be used as a weapon to connect all the units of this country from within. Chief Minister Sindh inaugurated five different venues of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, including Studio I, Studio. II, Josh Malihabadi Library, Ahmed Parvez Art Gallery and Cafe D’ Art are included.  A dinner and musical evening was also organized for the members of the Arts Council.
