FUJAIRAH: Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad al-Sharqi Tennis & Country Club Fujairah will be launching the first-ever courts of Padel Tennis in the city of Fujairah.
Padel Tennis will soon make its debut in the courts of Tennis & Country Club Fujairah and the opening will be graced by the attendance of H.H.Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Sharqi. The sport has gradually become one of the most anticipated and enjoyable ones, in the region.

Padel Tennis is a racquet sport typically played in doubles in an enclosed court. It is a sport that entails an invigorating combination of mind and body. The mind and body are tested to their limits, bringing out the maximum potential in the player.
The opening round of Padel Tennis will begin with a friendly match at the tennis and country club Fujairah between H.H.Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Sharqi and dignitaries from Fujairah and Dubai.
Talking about the launch, Mr. Abdul Ghafour Behrozian; Chairman at the Tennis & Country Club Fujairah, expressed his elation and passion towards ushering more sports of different forms and activities alongside Tennis.
The fundamental aim to introduce the sports of Padel Tennis in the city of Fujairah is to promote a lifestyle that is feasible for all ages and can be effortlessly acquired. Besides that, it will also create a sense of community among the people who feel enthusiastically for the sport.
Enthusiasts do not need to travel a long distance to participate or enjoy the thrill of the matches anymore. All the activities and matches will be conducted within the regulations of social distancing.
