Logo unveiling ceremony of ‘Melodies Club’ was held on Monday 28th June 2021 at Studio 28 with a very tempting theme of ‘Mango Party’, which was tempting enough for mango lovers and also for the reason that this was first mango party taking after place after relaxation of Covid-19 SOP’s by the concerned authorities.
This Mango Party was hosted by Melodies Club in collaboration with Chef’s Club and Biz Today International and was attended in vast number by the family members and friends of Melodies Club, Chef’s Club and Biz Today International.
Mango lovers from all over the city started arriving early and the event kicked off precisely at 06:00pm with large number of guests already present. Masters of the Ceremony Madiha Asif and nadeem Zaidi took centre stage and started off by welcoming all participants of this Mango Party / Loge Unveiling Ceremony.
After a brief session of registration and networking event officially kicked off with recitation of few verses from Holy Quran and immediately after that Nadeem Zaidi in his welcome speech welcomed all the participants of the this colourful evening. He concluded his speech with his poetry on the subject of wife and his poetry was well applauded by the audience.
Up next was singing contest, where amateur singers from the audience were invited to show-off their singing skills. Sumaira and Muniba entertained the audience to an extent that they all got involved with the singers.
After some very entertaining sessions of poetry and singing, audience was ready for logo unveiling of the beloved ‘The Melodies Club’. Logo unveiling by carried out by Tahira Suriya, Mehreen Moten, Junaid-ur-Rehman, Humayoon Khan, Saqib Good-Luck and Rafiq Vayani. To make this logo unveiling more memorable a cake cutting ceremony was also in place, where hosts and all the gentlemen did the honours of cake cutting.
After cake cutting ceremony, for keynote address host of the evening Nadeem Zaidi and Madiha Asif invited Mr. Junaid-ur-Rehman President Rotary Club of Karachi ‘Avenue’ and Director at Director Artistic Towels.
Mr. Junaid-ur-Rehman thanked the host especially Rafiq Vayani for inviting him again. He appreciated the efforts of Chef’s Club which aims at promoting home based eateries and their deliveries. He specifically pointed out that no one in Pakistan gives another chance when it’s about the taste of the food. He concluded by saying that these type of events should take place regularly for more and more promotion of home based eateries.
Immediately after cover-note speech, commencement of mango party was announced, where apart from excellently tasting mangos (sindhrri) were available at our disposal. Apart from mangos, we were spoilt with other mango related options like Mango Alaskan Ice Cream and mango flavoured local savoury ‘dahi bhallay’, all these were prepared by Chef Ghayas specifically for this mango party.
After an excellent tasting mango feast, an equally excellent tasting three course dinner was waiting for us for devouring and that too courtesy of Siraj Iqbal of United Catering. Mutton Qourma, Chicken Biryani and Spring Rolls to sum up our evening.
