Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a digital-age networking solutions provider, has announced the general availability of two new Wi-Fi 6 certified access points: Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar AP1311 entry level premium model and the Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar AP1301 entry level base model.

These new indoor access points provide powerful WLAN capacity, based on the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and can address small and medium-sized enterprise demand for higher bandwidth and connectivity.

The Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11ax) has been developed to provide higher performance, capacity and bandwidth, in high-density environments, such as gathering places where many mobile users and IoTs connect simultaneously.

“The OmniAccess Stellar AP1311 and AP1301 are welcome Wi-Fi 6 additions to our Networking portfolio and confirm our commitment to mission-critical networks, simple to operate and securely connecting users and IOTs,” said Stephan Robineau, EVP Networking Business, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

“These cost-effective access points introduce a new set of powerful and efficient WLAN capabilities for improved experience with higher throughput. These solutions will provide more reliable and secure connectivity for enterprises and organisations looking to accelerate their Digital Transformation using the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard.”
