The Caters Events-planner Bakers Organization (CEBO) held its 3rd Grand Meet-up at Karachi’s upscale restaurant ‘The Forest’ on 27th October 2020. Theme of this year’s Grand Meet-up was ‘Super 2020 Warriors’, which aims to acknowledge those women who contributed massively during the horrid times of Covid-19.
The event started off precisely at 04:00 pm on Tuesday, 27th October 2020, where arriving guests were warmly welcomed by the stunning host of the evening Chef Samia Jamil, Founder of CEBO. This event was well attended by celebrities, socialites, chefs, women entrepreneurs, press etc etc. Some of the celebrities included Nida Yasir, Yasir Nawaz, Fatima Effendi, Chef Naheed Ansari, Chef Rida Aftab, Chef Samina Jalil, Kanwar Arsalan and Chef Samia Jamil and many more.
Representatives of Pink Ribbon campaign for breast Cancer awareness were also present at the event. A cake cutting ceremony was also arranged to commemorate the event and all important guest present participated in cake cutting ceremony.
Renowned celebrity Chef Samia Jamil, owner and admin of CEBO Group informed; “main motive of this 3rd Grand Meet-up is to acknowledge the efforts of those women who started their business during hard times of Covid-19 and resulted in supporting their families and their male partners very positively. For me all these women who are watching me or are here at this event are super 2020 warriors for me”.
Samia Jamil said that; “these type of events for very beneficial for small scale businesses, especially for women who are working from home. Working from home is not a taboo anymore and women must come forward with their home based products and that you can carry on with your passion and simultaneously grow your business too”.
She further said; “this year’s grand meet-up aims to boost entrepreneurs business, B2B relations build up, sponsorship opportunities and will have an award function to honor brave ladies who shone bright during 2020”.
