KARACHI: Third get-together of MKP Group was held yesterday evening i.e. 27th October 2020 at Al-Bustan Restaurant, Mövenpick Hotel Karachi. Like previous get-togethers, this one also turned out to be a huge success and almost all members made sure to attend and many had guests with them. This third get-together of MKP Group was also referred to as October meet.
MKP Group is a brain-child of three like-minded gentlemen by the name of Majyd Aziz, Sohail Ahmed and Anis Younus. Theme of the group is to have get-together of like-minded friends. MKP stands for Milna, Khana and Peena which translates to meet, eat & drink. The name of the group says it all in it and members knew exactly what to be expect. An evening full of fun, enjoyment, and merriment coupled with business and social networking.
Event officially started off with Majyd Aziz taking charge as host of the evening who introduced new members & guests about MKP Group. Host of the evening said any member can come on stage and try their luck to entertain the members. First person to come was Aftab Gilani try his luck to entertain the crowd with some impressive poetry and jokes. Then it was Anis Younus who also tried his luck with poetry and jokes. Anis Younus also acted as co-host along-with Majyd Aziz. They then invited first speaker of the evening Dr. Imran Jofa to say a few words.
Dr. Muhammad Imran Yousuf (a.k.a Dr. Imran Jofa) founder of Transformation International, Managing Director Jofa Group and honorary Consul General of Philippines spoke on mental health, which according to him should be given a priority. According to him, it is a normal trend all over the world to focus more on physical health rather than focusing on mental health. Ignoring mental health is mostly the reason behind decline in physical health. Dr. Imran Jofa also stressed on the need of staying positive which according to him is your best effort that an individual can do for a society.
Asif Nisar one of the regular member of MKP Group briefed about his company Asif Abid & Co and about products that they offer. Asif Nisar also gave away goodie-bags to every member, with each bag containing consumer goods. Another regular member of MKP Group Sohail Amin also briefed about his family-business, where they deal in plastics & chemicals. Faysal Rehmani from Gobi Paints also gave away excellent gift hampers to all members of the group present at the get-together.
Prominent socialite Dr. Kashif Moten from The Energy Clinic offered 25% discount on all services offered by The Energy Clinic. Services include stress, depression, anxiety, sexual-health, body-aches, complete mental well-being and complete physical well-being. Dr. Zahid Hussain Ansari also spoke on this occasion.
A photographer was seen busy all throughout the event trying to capture some excellent moments of this get together. His efforts will surely make this event even more memorable one some. Live music also created a lively ambiance and some members also tried their luck at singing.
Evening concluded on dinner at one of the best fine dining restaurant in Karachi by the name of Al-Bustan Restaurant at Mövenpick Hotel Karachi.
