Government must take step to resolve education related problems: Qais Sheikh

KARACHI: Qais Sheikh said parents biggest problem is paying school fee, one of the office bearer of Insan Dost Foundation Mr. Qais Sheikh expressed his concerns during a program of a private TV Channel over the school fees and School Building rent. He said that during rain no ruling party came out for relief work, but NGOs played major role in this difficult time. Answering a question he said that Heavy Rains have doubled the problems of parents and they are really unable to pay school fee in this regard government must make a policy through parents could pay fees in installments, on the other hand school are also facing difficulties in paying building rent.

He further said I myself visited almost every area of city but I nowhere found any MPA or MNA, but different NGOs were playing their role to provide relief to the rain effectees. He pointed out that when the most of the water was drained there were political gatherings.

He specially thanked the Hunaid Lakhani, who said him to visit effected areas and he also offered to do maintenance work whose house were damaged, he told that more than 200 house were maintained with the help of Baitulmaal Fund.

Qais Sheikh also mentioned the meeting with Provincial Education minister, during which he requested to resolve the issue of school fee, he also told that I have expressed the fear of parents that whether their children would allowed to attend classes or not if they don’t pay the fee.

He appreciated the relief activity of Saylani Welfare, JDC, Sarim Burney and Chhipa, he also said our NGOs do much for Rashen but this time our people need maintenance so it must be kept in mind, he also told that in this regard I have personally met Maulana Bashir Farooqui of Saylani welfare trust.
