KARACHI: Pakistani drama industry has witnessed some extremely talented and good looking actors in the past 6-8 years. Our Drama Industry has grown positively in terms of production quality, direction and acting. One of the most promising faces from the new era of Pakistani Drama Industry is the uber talented Fahad Sheikh. Back in the days he was a TV Host for HUM TV Network and lead a fashion based show for years named as 11 Number. The show was loved and followed by millions of youngsters all across the country. In a short span of 4-5 years Fahad has paved his way to the top and showcased his acting skills in super hit Pakistani Drama Serials like Bandish, Khudparast, Mubarik Ho BetiHuiHai, Jalan and many more.
Currently, Fahad Sheikh is doing wonders with his brilliant actingin ARY’s latest drama serial Jalan that also stars the beautiful Minal Khan and Areeba Habib. The story is based on greed and jealousy. Jalan is aboutbeing blinded with greed and jealousy to such an extent that even the closest relations don’t stand between you and your ambitions.
Mainly the story revolves around a girl named Nisha (Minal Khan) and her fiancé Ahmer (Fahad Sheikh). Both of them are in love but just then Nisha’s elder sister Misha gets married to a filthy rich guy Asfand, this fills Nisha with hate, jealousy and greed. She starts thinking less of her own fiancé who is sincere and is madly in love with her. Clashes start happening between Nisha and AhmerasNisha starts insulting and misbehaving with him every now and then to get rid of him. Ahmer keeps bearing all that for the sake of love until one day when Nisha brings her brother in law (Asfand) to talk to her father for stopping the marriage. Ahmer loses his temper and goes all hard on Asfand. The moment Ahmer entered the scene and said “TUM HO KON BHAI” – stole the show! The whole drama took a step up and situation gets all intense. Fahad Sheikh’s expressions, his anger and control on the scene was just out of the box. In the end of episode 4, Ahmer goes and apologizes to his uncle (Pupha) for losing his temper. This scene made us cry. The way he begged and apologized to his pupha made everyone dip in tears.
We are hoping to see some phenomenal acting by Fahad Sheikh in his upcoming Drama serial Dunk that is being shot during the pandemic by the super talented team of Big Bang Entertainment. Directed by the very talented BadarMehmood. Dunk’s cast includes Bilal Abbas Khan, Fahad Sheikh, Sana Javed, Azekah Daniel, ShahoodAlvi and many more talented actors. Just like Jalan, Dunk is said to be one of the premium projects of Big Bang.
