KARACHI: Corporate Pakistan Group (CPG) hosted Pakistan’s first ever Digital Mushaira (Poetry Show) on Saturday, 28 March, 2020 via Zoom attended by 253 participants from all over Pakistan and USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia, Germany and France. 7 poets and our 3 members recited poetry. CPGian Ghazanfar Ali was Convenor.
CPGian Syed Imran Ahmed said: It was a good experiment in connecting digitally – overcoming social distancing while keeping physical distancing. CPG can now creatively use this digital platform for various other uses during the time of Covid 19 and beyond.
CPG is a group of 256 individuals from different backgrounds including corporate & business leaders, ministers, senators, governors, federal secretaries, diplomats, defence personnel, disnguished academicians, media practitioners, energy experts, tech entrepreneurs, police officials, and movers and shakers of civil society.
