KARACHI: Faysal Bank Limited was the lead sponsor of the 5th Special Olympics Pakistan Unified Marathon 2020, held at Moin Khan Academy on 5th February, 2020. The event hosted a total of 3,500 participants, which included 1,300 specially-abled children and adults.
Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO, Faysal Bank Limited, inaugurated the marathon with varying distances of 10km, 5km, and 1km, encouraging participation of specially-abled individuals, in resonance with our brand motivational slogan of “Barho – Yaqeen Ke Saath”.
At the award giving ceremony, Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO, Faysal Bank Limited, said, “I feel very proud to be a partner of Special Olympics Pakistan. We, as an institution, believe in giving back to the society, and this cause is very close to our heart as we believe that rehabilitating and enabling lives is paramount.It is a commitment by us to support this cause across various communities and is also a testament to our strong belief in our core Islamic values of equality and inclusivity”.
