ABU DHABI: Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) is participating in the ACI Airport Exchange 2019 in Abu Dhabi from November 25th to 27th. More than 1,500 decision-makers from international airports and hundreds of speakers and experts from the aviation industry are taking part in the 3-day trade show organised by the Airports Council International (ACI).
SAA is participating in the ACI Airport Exchange for the second time to showcase Sharjah Airport’s latest services, innovations and facilities for partners, customers and travellers. The trade show is also an opportunity to learn about the best international practices, share experiences, promote joint cooperation and review Sharjah Airport’s expansion project.
HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said “Our participation in this international event is an opportunity to showcase Sharjah Airport’s latest services and facilities. ACI Airport Exchange 2019 is also the ideal platform for exchanging opinions with experts and specialists who work at airlines and international airports around the world. We are also holding meetings to discuss possible cooperation and collaboration and presenting strategies and studies related to Sharjah Airport’s future development.”
His Excellency added, “This participation is in line with Sharjah Airport’s interest in enhancing its regional and international standing by developing channels of communication and cooperation with partners from around the world at specialised international exhibitions.”
On the third day of ACI Airport Exchange 2019, His Excellency will participate in the Middle East Airport Leaders Masterclass as a panellist,discussing the latest developments, green initiatives, zero carbon targets and the implementation of technology at regional airports.
