Careem and PIA to create a seamless travel experience

KARACHI: Careem and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is entering into an agreement to create a seamless experience for customers using Careem app and the airline to travel domestically. The signing of the agreement took place at the PIA Head Office with members of the senior leadership from both organizations.

The partnership will give Careem customers a whopping 50% discount on GO+ and Business rides to and from 10+ airports when they book a flight through PIA. Customers will receive the promo code with their in flight confirmation SMS.

Not only this, the partnership will also mean exclusive check-in counters for Careem customers to ensure an even smoother check-in experience.

Passengers travelling to and from airports are increasingly choosing ride-hailing platforms for both personal and business use to have a  vehicle available to pick them up within minutes of

booking a ride. Gone are the days of pre-booking rides to the airport for departure or waiting in line for the next available car to take them to their destination.

Zeeshan Hasib Baig, General Manager Careem Pakistan said on the occasion, “Careem believes that lasting partnerships are the key to creating value for our customers. This partnership with PIA will ensure that high density locations such as airports are properly facilitated through a digital platform like Careem. This will simplify and improve lives by providing end-to-end traveling experience.”

Other than offering discounts on rides, there are quite a few prizes in store for customers as well. Individuals who avail the most number of rides to and from the airport on Careem will also stand a chance to win the opportunity to tour PIA’s in flight simulator. So if you ever want to find out what it’s like to be a pilot, here is your chance!

Additionally, PIA passengers who use Careem will have the chance to win other exciting prizes through raffles, giveaways and much more in the months to come.

Air Marshall Arshad Malik, Chief Executive Officer PIA, commented, “PIA’s partnership with Careem is in line with our desire to offer a seamless travel experience to our passengers. I acknowledge and appreciate this initiative with Careem. This is just the start. The sky’s the limit.”

Customers will be able to avail the amazing offers by PIA and Careem very soon. News Desk
