KARACHI: On 27th July, the prominent educational start-up, Dot & Line Centres collaborated with Schole International Academy to put together a fun, exciting and energy filled event for over 200 children from all over Karachi. The main event was a grand Math Competition with wonderful prizes for the winners, but there were also many other activities for the children, to make sure there was no shortage of fun.
The event kicked off at 11:15am with warm-up dances with Mr. Faizan, who’s routine for the children was nothing short of amazing. The energy in the auditorium picked up seconds after Mr. Faizan started lead the dance routine and all the children excitedly followed along.
After this, Maheen Adamjee, one of the founders of Dot & Line Centres, read out a captivating story to the children. It was one that emphasized the importance of math and counting in daily life situations faced by a young giraffe named Abigail. The children in the auditorium listened carefully and counted along with Maheen.
After this, the room was bursting with excitement and the children were all ready to get straight into the math competition. The quiz was lead by Amna Ansari, the organizer of the event from Dot & Line Centres, and carried out smoothly with the help of the entire team from Dot and Line as well as Schole Academy. Children were fully engrossed in solving their math puzzles to win the grand prize, which was an LG Tablet. After three rounds of elimination, the team finally had a winner. A young boy, Muhammad Hashim, went home with a brand new Tablet. But even though not everyone could win the grand prize, all the children went home with special goodiebags from Dot & Line, so that everyone felt like a winner.
After the competition, refreshments were served by Schole Academy. The event closed by 2:15pm as satisfied parents and their happy children teamed out of the campus. BIZ TODAY REPORT
