DUBAI: Emirates NBD, a leading banking Group in the region, today marked the UAE Flag Day with staff ceremonies at its Deira headquarters and Meydan offices. Emirates NBD officials, including Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director; Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini, Board Member; Shayne Nelson, Group Chief Executive Officer together with a number of key customers, senior management and staff of Emirates NBD Group, gathered to raise the national flag and reaffirm their allegiance to the UAE flag, a symbol of the nation’s unity and greatness.
Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates NBD Group, said: “As a leading banking group in the UAE, we are delighted to renew our loyalty to the UAE flag and our commitment to the nation and its wise leadership. We are also pleased to inaugurate an exhibition showcasing a collection of photographs of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in celebration of the Year of Zayed.”
The special event was organised as part of the country’s celebration of the Year of Zayed. Emirates NBD’s photography exhibition, showcasing a collection of photographs of the UAE founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan exhibition is open to the public 24/7 until the UAE’s National Day celebrations on 2nd December.
