BANGKOK: Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo (fifth from left), Acting President, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), Mrs. Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho (sixth from left), THAI Executive Vice President, Aviation Business Unit, Flight Lieutenant Pratana Patanasiri (seventh from left), THAI Vice President, Aviation Safety, Security and Standards, received the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certificates from Mr. Blair Cowles (fourth from left), IATA Asia-Pacific Regional Director, Safety and Flight Operations, at THAI Head Office.

THAI was the first carrier in Thailand to have obtained IOSA certification in 2004, which has been continually renewed. IOSA is mandatory for all IATA member airlines and each airline is reviewed every two years to maintain membership status.  THAI also received ISAGO certification for high ground operations, flight operations, and aviation management standards, which is of particular importance as a ground customer service provider at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
