DUBAI: The Gulf food exhibition and its sizzling, glittering ambiance, and great networking platform has made many companies take off. One such company is Malka Foods. We spoke to the Chief Executive Officer of the company in the exhibition. The CEO, Faisal Mubin Ganatra explains that Gulfood is an excellent place to meet suppliers, manufacturer and distributors coming from all around the world. It opens doors of opportunities to expand your business. We are already a global food company and expanding everyday. Gulfood is such a great platform to expand business in international markets. Here in Dubai, in Gulfood exhibition, we met distributors from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UAE and other countries. We have signed up MoU’s and distribution agreements with these distributors. It was very convenient.
Biz Today: What are the products of Malka brand that you were launching in international markets from the platform of Golfood.
Faisal: We have a range of kitchen culinary products under Malka brand umbrella. These are amazingly tasty food products. We have amazing recipe mixes, pure basic spices, Lentils, Fried Onions, Tomato Ketchup, superior quality Mayonnaise, Ginger Garlic paste and dried fruits. We are planning to launch ready to eat foods and pickles.
Biz Today: You mentioned that you are very happy that you instantly found many distributors from various parts of the world and that you have great quality products that stands out in everything from recipe, taste and packaging to brand positioning. You are lucky, isn’t it?
Faisal: Well! I strongly believe that everything happens from the will of Almighty God. We keep good intentions and success follows. I have worked in leading MNC’s in food business as a CEO. Today, by the grace of God my own company Malka Foods is flourishing locally and in international markets.

Biz Today: So what are the success factors for your business?
Faisal: As I said earlier to someone from media yesterday… One common factor that has been and will always be a success factor is the element of passion, if you have passion for something your chances of success are high despite challenges that we always face in any work. Your focus of attention should be customer. Malka brand is a culinary kitchen brand that truly understands the customer’s culture and the traditional taste of the people of sub-continent.
Biz Today: You mentioned that women are master chefs and the king makers?
Faisal: In majority of the cases women are the ones who decide about the food dishes and the cooking at home. And she gets appreciation and recognition in society if she is a great cooks. We try our best to give the lady of the house, ease, convenience, new amazing recipes so that she stands out. In other words we want her to be the queen of the family. Our Malka brand in english means, The Queen. As we say, Malka is the Queen of Taste
The main objective of forming the company was to follow the path of the holy prophet (PBUH) by promoting entrepreneurship and by serving humanity. We believe that we are accountable to our creator and responsible for the health of our consumers so we will never compromise on quality. Secondly we want to acknowledge the contribution of mother, wife, sisters and daughters because they play vital role in the success of a family.
