KARACHI: Ms. Lashley A. Pulsipher, Chief Marketing Officer, Sales & Revenue Officer at Hashoo Group was speaking to correspondent of BizToday at the launch of Pakistan Travel Mart which was held at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.
According to Ms. Lashley A. Pulsipher; “I first came to Pakistan during 2014 as a tourist and was overwhelmed by the great hospitality and kindness of Pakistani’s from top most tier to lowest possible tier and I always found them positive and never failing to impress”.
She had a great time during her first stay in Pakistan and was so much smitten by attitude of Pakistani’s that once she was offered to come to Pakistan and work as Marketing Head, she accepted at once.
Immediately after joining the Hashoo Group her first major decision was to sponsor Pakistan Travel Mart, which is going to be held at Karachi Expo Centre from 24th November 2017 ~26th November 2017.
Ms. Lashley A. Pulsipher said; events of this type create a positive image about any country and also creates vast scale employment, this type of event is a big step in promoting tourism sector in Pakistan”. All over the world travel & tourism industry employees industry has large number of employees but in Pakistan we are missing out here.
On the concluding note she said; “Pakistan does not have any security problem, the real problem that Pakistan is facing today is lack of proper ‘public relations’ (PR), and to cater this problem all the stake holders like concerned industry, media, government functionaries, security officials should concentrate more on these type of events rather than focusing on negative side of Pakistan”.
Events like pakistan Travel Mart create will create positive image of Pakistan, create more jobs and will bring in more money.
