AJMAN: Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman reached out as far as Pakistan for its CSR activity for the summer period.
The properties are hosting 15 teachers and their families from Deaf Reach Schools in Pakistan throughout August and September. The school teachers are provided with an average of seven-night stay on complimentary full board basis at Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman. On top of the free accommodation, they were also given free city tours of Dubai including dhow cruise, desert safari, and trip to Dubai Mall, among others.
Iftikhar Hamdani, cluster general manager, said: “We are honoured to host the hardworking teachers from Deaf Reach School in Pakistan. In this Year of Giving, it is important to help out and reward such inspiring individuals, who do not let challenges like disabilities to stop them from making contributions to our society. We hope that through this trip, we are able to provide them with lasting memories, and will motivate them further in their noble teaching profession.”
Richard Geary, executive director and founder, Deaf Reach Schools in Pakistan, expressed his gratitude: “It has been a dream for many of the teachers to visit the UAE but due to limited resources, they were not able to do so. Thus, on behalf of our school, we thank Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman for their generosity and support in turning these dreams into reality. May other individuals and organisations emulate their gestures, for us to better inspire, and remunerate our teachers for their dedication in educating students with disability.”
Hamdani also shared that the hotels will continue the initiative for the next summer as more deaf schools are expected to open in different cities in Pakistan. PR
