KARACHI: Alliance Française de Karachi in collaboration with Youth Parliament, Sindh Cabinet organized an event of Tree plantation drive and Award ceremony for their launched Project “GREEN REVOLUTION” at Alliance Francaise de Karachi on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018.
The event was attend by the distinguished guests of Karachi includes Mr. Didier Talpain, Consul General of France in Karachi, Mr. Gilles PASCAL director AFK, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal BHIMLA, Deputy director AFK, Mr. Muhammad Hassan Samejo, Secretary, Youth Parliament Sindh Cabinet, Ms. Kulsoom Siddiqui (WFUNA), Mr. Abid Brohi (Singer), Mr. Syed Tariq Shah, (Chairman Central, Private School Association), Mr. Shehzad Qureshi (Urban Forest), Syed Imamuddin, Karachi Ikebana Group, Students of different schools and universities have also participated in this program.
The event was organized to spread awareness and give the importance of greenery in our environment. After the speeches by the distinguished guests, there was a Award ceremony to appreciate the youth serving in this project.
This Project was started in April 2018 and during this time period more than two hundred thousand trees have been planted in different areas of Karachi.
The event was organized with the support of World federation of United Nation Association, Thalassemia Welfare Organization, Blingy Twinkles, Hum Hain Shaheen Foundation, and 3D Lifestyle. BIZ TODAY REPORT
